For nearly two decades, the Greater Brewton Lions Club has put on a fall car show that draws hundreds of car enthusiasts to Brewton.
The 19th annual event is now being planned for the show set for Oct. 28.
The event will be held in historic downtown Brewton at Camp 31. Cars will arrive early for the show set to begin at 8 a.m. with closing awards at 2 p.m.
Viewing of the cars is always free to the public. Funds for projects of the group are gained through registration of vehicles in the show.
Cost for registration is $25 for one vehicle or $40 for two vehicles. Each registration will allow one $10 meal ticket for the showcar owner.
Registration is now underway for those interested in having one or more vehicles in the day-long event.
There will also be a 50-50 give away along with door prizes throughout the event.
Music will also be a part of the days activities. Indoor restrooms will be available.
For registration information, contact Glen Freeman at 867-4781.
Money raised at this, and other events of the club, are used to help provide services and projects for the group throughout the year.
Donations for upcoming projects may also be made to any member of the Greater Brewtion Lions Club or on show day.
