Mr. Danny Garfield Young, 67, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at his Repton residence. He was a native of Castleberry and had been a resident of Repton for the past two years, coming from Robertsdale. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a pharmacy technician at Pharmacy Corporation of America for a number of years. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Young of Repton; two brothers, Harvey Young of Loxley, and Eddie Young of Summerdale; two sisters, Ruby Willingham of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and Voncile Adkins of Seminole, Fla.; and his mother-in-law, Carol Hull of Loxley.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. at Craver's Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Janice Young and the Rev. Harvey Young officiating. Burial followed at Cooper Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Mitchell Young, D.J. Young, Charles Young, Ronnie Young, Phillip Young and Lynn Willingham.
