June means no school, arrival of summer and blood drives. The Brewton community was the site for the June 5 community blood drive. Special thanks to our loyal friends who wish to remain anonymous for sponsoring the drive, Cingular Wireless for the use of the phone and the give-away fans, our great volunteers and the folks who came and donated.
To the super folks out at Appleton Assembly of God who did a wonderful job of volunteering and donating on June 12 - thanks for a fantastic drive.
We're grateful to this newspaper and WEBJ for getting the word out.
