The Brewton Council of the Arts brought Birmingham Children’s Theatre to Brewton to perform three shows of “The Three Billy Goats Gruff.” This was made possible by grant funding from Georgia Pacific Foundation and the Curtis Finlay Foundation. Children in preschool, kindergarten and first grade enjoyed the engaging story and their opportunity to be in close proximity to the actors. Students from Brewton Elementary, Flomaton Elementary, Neal Elementary, Pollard-McCall, Jack & Jill, St.Stephens and the YMCA preschool were as excited about taking the field trip as they were about seeing a show. Live theatre provides an experienced that is unmatched.
