If you are in the medical field, an upcoming job fair may give you a chance to work closer to home.
And, if you’ve ever dreamed of getting into the world of healthcare, this may also be your opportunity.
The Escambia County Healthcare System will be hosting two job fairs — one in Brewton and one in Atmore — in search of some new faces for local hospitals.
On Wednesday, Jan. 24, a Job Fair will be conducted at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital in Brewton from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the hospital’s education center. The hospital is located at 1301 Belleville Avenue.
The Job Fair will be looking for nursing staff with either RN or LPN certification. Other departments searching for new faces will be EMS, Radiology, Respiratory, Laboratory, Clerical, Med Techs and more.
There will be sign-on bonuses with employee-referral bonuses as well.
A Job Fair will be held in Atmore on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 8 to 5 p.m. at Atmore Community Hospital. The Fair will be held in the hospital’s auditorium located at 401 Medical Park Drive.
In Atmore, LPN and RN nurses are being sought. Other areas looking to expand their employee base will be therapy services, Radiology, Respiratory, Clerical and others.
Sign-on and Employee-Referral bonuses will also be in place for the Atmore Job Fair event.
