Reid State Technical College proudly announces the signing of Jackson Reid as the inaugural addition to our baseball program. The signing ceremony took place today in the esteemed surroundings of the Edith A. Gray Library at Reid State Technical College, under the guidance of Coach Howard “Marshall” Presley.
Jackson Reid, standing at 5’6 and weighing 160 lbs., brings a dynamic skill set to our team. A versatile player, Jackson is proficient in the outfield, infield, and pitching, serving as a valuable utility player. With his right-handed prowess and dedication to excellence, he is poised to make a significant impact on the field.
A graduate of J.U. Blacksher in 2023, Jackson Reid exemplifies both athletic prowess and academic dedication. His commitment to excellence extends beyond the field, as he joins Reid State Technical College to pursue studies in Industrial Electricity & Electronics Technology / Industrial Maintenance Tech.
Jackson Reid’s family includes his mother, Leslie Vice, and stepfather, James Vice, as well as his father, David Reid, and stepmother, Patricia Reid. Their support and encouragement undoubtedly contribute to Jackson’s success both on and off the field.
