The postponed groundbreaking ceremony for United Bank is set for Friday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. at 1515 Douglas Avenue — the site for the new banking offices.

The event is open to the public as officials turn the first shovels of dirt to open construction for the bank.

Barring any weather or other construction delays, the tentative opening of the bank should be in October 2024.
