After a 6-28 overall record last season and a 3-15 conference record, things with the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk team is looking up this season.
Literally.
The Lady Warhawks have three girls at a height of 5-10 and three at 5-9. While that may be short to some, it is tall according to JDCC head coach Misti Nims.
The Lady Warhawks return three players from last year - captain Brittney Rogers, Jessica Johnson and Tamara Lewis.
Along with the three returning girls, Nims said she is excited about a great recruiting class.
Another great addition to the JDCC Lady Warhawk recruiting class is former W.S. Neal Lady Eagle standout Maggie Crutchfield.
Another person who might see some middle playing time is Amtwinique Harris.
Schedule wise things have changed from last year in the ACCC volleyball format.
JDCC was set to open their 2008 season on Friday in Pensacola at PJC, but things have changed.
Team members for the JDCC Lady Warhawks this season are:
