Mrs. Lonnie Mae Edwards Beasley, 83, died Sunday, June 22, 2003 at the home of her son, Green Cove Springs, Fla. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Century and the Eastern Star. She was retired from Gulf Power Company after 37 years of service in 1982. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Archie A. Beasley.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Beasley of Gulf Shores and George Beasley of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; a brother, Robert Edwards of Pensacola; two sisters, Bernice Crawley of Cantonment and Lou Hendricks of Pensacola, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 26, at 10:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice in Pensacola.
