The voting is open to declare the “Best of the Best” in the annual contest sponsored by The Brewton Standard.
Voting will continue through Aug. 26 in a number of categories featuring locally-owned and operated business as well as some chain outlets in the area.
Nominations were compiled and the top three nominees in each division were put into the voting phase of the contest.
For the 2024 contest, the “Berry Best” of Brewton and East Brewton will be selected by readers as votes are cast, counted and announced. A special publication will be presented next month with a complete winners list.
“We are pleased with the number of nominations received for this year’s contest,” said Lisa Tindell, editor for The Brewton Standard. “There are so many wonderful businesses and business owners in our community and we are happy to celebrate them in this special contest.”
