JDCC v-ball falls to Central Alabama

The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyball team fell to 2-3 overall and 1-1 over the weekend with a 3-1 loss to Central Alabama at home.
Central Alabama claimed a 25-15 win in the first set, a 25-18 win in the second set before falling to JDCC 25-16 in the third set. In the fourth set, JDCC fell 25-20.
Brittney Rogers led the Lady Warhawks with 12 kills in the four-game match and Lauren Himel, Samantha Ball, Sydney Boutwell and Jessica Johnson all had two service aces.
Boutwell led with 13 digs and Rogers and Johnson each had a block each.
JDCC was set to host PJC on Monday and will travel to Faulkner State tonight.
In their Monday game at home against PJC, the Lady Warhawks fell to 2-4 on the season with a 3-0 loss.
JDCC fell 25-16, 28-26, and 25-19 in the three game match.
Johnson lef with five kills against PJC.
Rogers, Ball and Lewis all head one ace each and Boutwell led with 10 digs.
Sandlin led the Lady Warhawks with four blocks in the three set loss.
Over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday, the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk volleyabll team will travel to the campus of Pensacola Junior College to take part in a weekend tournament.
The Lady Warhawks of JDCC will return home to Warhawk gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. when they are scheduled to take on Bevill State of Fayette in a conference match.
