Mrs. Vanessa B. Lowery, 48, of Ridge Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, in a Pensacola medical facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Monett, Mo., a former resident of Jay, Fla., and a long time resident of Brewton. She was a member of Jay Church of Christ, a certified nursing assistant and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John Dana Lowery of Brewton; a son, Patrick Lowery of Brewton; three daughters, Jennifer Lowery (Danny) Smith, Sara Lowery and Katie Lowery, all of Brewton; a stepdaughter, Rhonda Lowery Pate of Brewton; a brother, Don Belveal of Jay; a sister, Rhonda Scott of Exeter, Mo.; a grandchild, Josie Smith; and three step-grandchildren, Billie Strength, Caleb Strength, and Regan Smith.
Memorial funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 26, at 1 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Lee Cadenhead officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
