JDCC volleyball takes losses

The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawks dropped to 3-11 overall and to 2-3 in conference play with a 1-5 record in their last six games.
JDCC fell to Snead State 3-1, Southern Union 2-0, Northwest Shoals 2-0, defeated Wallace State of Selma 2-0, fell to Lawson State 2-1, and fell to Bevill State-Fayette 3-0.
Snead State 3, JDCC 1
The Lady Warhawks took game one 25-19 over Snead but dropped games two to four by scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-17.
Brittney Rogers led JDCC with 12 kills and Jessica Johnson led with three service aces. Samantha Ball led JDCC with 15 digs and Emily Sandlin led with four blocks.
Southern Union 2, JDCC 0
Against Southern Union, former W.S. Neal Lady Eagle Maggie Crutchfield led JDCC with four kills and Johnson led with three service aces. Ball led with eight digs and Emily Sandlin led with four blocks as JDCC fell 25-15 and 25-23.
NW Shoals 2, JDCC 0
Against Shoals, JDCC fell 25-18 and 25-14. Crutchfield led with five kills and Lauren Himel and Johnson led with a service ace each. Ball led with 11 digs and Crutchfield had one block to lead JDCC.
JDCC 2, Wallace State Selma 0
The Lady Warhawk's lone win came against Wallace State of Selma 25-22 and 25-20. Crutchfield led with five kills and Ball led with three service aces. Boutwell led with 10 digs and Sandlin led with two blocks.
Lawson State 2, JDCC 1
Against Lawson, JDCC took game one 25-19 and dropped game two 25-19 and game three 15-10.
Rogers led JDCC with six kills and Himel and Tamara Lewis each had a service ace each. Ball led with 12 digs and Sandlin and Antwinique Harris led with two blocks.
Bevill State-Fayette 3, JDCC 0
In their final game of the six-game stretch, JDCC fell 25-20, 25-23, and 25-17 to Bevill. Rogers led with seven kills and Himel led with three service aces. Boutwell had 12 digs and Sandlin had three blocks in the loss.
