The Poarch Band of Creek Indians will be hosting the annual Thanksgiving Pow-Wow on Nov. 28-29.

The Pow Wow grounds are located just off Jack Springs Road west of Atmore.

Mound Activities begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday with the Princess Contest at 11 a.m. The Grand Entry will be at 1 p.m.

On Friday, Mound Activities begin at 10 a.m. with Grand Entry at noon.

General admission is $10 per day or a two-day wristband for $15. Children under 6 admitted at no charge.

The annual Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot will begin with registration at 6 a.m. with the race beginning at 7 a.m.
