Ms. Tammie Marie Franklin, 47, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, in a Pensacola, Fla., Hospice residence after a brief illness. She was a native of Brewton and a resident of Navarre, Fla., for the past 20 years. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Brewton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Leona Franklin, and Marie Hammond; and two uncles, Rudolph Franklin and Ronald Hammond.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Franklin of Brewton; her father, John David Franklin of Navarre; her brother, Thomas Franklin of Navarre; her fiance, Todd Armbruster of Navarre; and an aunt, Edith (Charles) O'Keefe of Arkansas.
There will be a celebration of life and memorial service Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church on Smith Lane with Elder Wayne Morris and Seventy Wayne Ellis officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the church or to the Hospice Foundation.
