Mrs. Jacquelline English Mayo, 76, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, in a Monroe County hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of McCullough, and a fomer resident of Indiana before moving to Range in 1972. She was a homemaker and a member of the Range Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Mayo.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Mayo of Range; a son, Mitchell (Ann) Mayo of Lenox; two daughters, Debbie (Jack) Pennington of Valparaiso, Ind., and Beverly Hall of Range; one brother, Tom English of Pensacola, Fla.; five sisters, Lyndall Morgan of Oklahoma, Olivia Rowell of Finchburg, Mavis Howard of Pensacola, Armondtine Wells of Huntsville and Myrle Britton of Texas; five grandchildren, Wendy Folmar, Maranda Allen, Daniel Recktenwall, Shannon Sawyer, Brandon Sawyer and Robert Roberts; and five great-grandchildren.
She will lie in state for one hour prior to service time.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 11 a.m. at the Range Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Boatwright and the Rev. Clyde Bruley officiating.
Burial will follow at Range Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
