Officials with Weyerhaeuser Company has confirmed the indefinite lay-off of
more than 70 employees at the Castleberry plant.
Nancy Thompson, spokesman for the company said Wednesday. “The announcement
included the layoff of 73 employees. We are classifying this as an
indefinite layoff.”
Thompson said the company could not confirm whether employees would be asked
to return to their positions at the plant any time in the near future.
