Brewton 15-year-old BR beats Atmore

The Brewton Babe Ruth 15-year-old All Star team scored 10 unanswered runs Monday night in Atmore to take a 10-2 win over Atmore in the first round of their district tournament.
Brewton trailed 2-0 after the first inning, but scored three runs in the fourth inning, four in the fifth inning and three more in the seventh inning to get the eight-run win.
Starting pitcher for Brewton, Gary McGraw, went six innings and allowed two runs on three hits, walked two and struck out 10 in the win.
Monterius Culliver, Reid Johnson, Caleb McAnally, and Logan Williamson all had hits for Brewton in the win. Johnson had a double along with McAnally.
Brewton was set to take on the winner of Monroe County and Evergreen at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
