Walter Lewis golf tourney to play
The sixth annual Walter Lewis scholarship golf tournament will be held Thursday at the Country Club of Brewton.
The tournament will be a four-man scramble with $75 per player of $300 per team. This includes green fee, cart and lunch. A shotgun start will begin at 1 p.m. with registration beginning at 11 a.m.

TRM quarterback club to have party
The T.R. Miller Quarterback Club will have their annual Membership Appreciation Tailgate Party at 5 p.m. Oct. 2 prior to the Calhoun game.
This year’s tailgate event will also be in honor of the 40th Anniversary of the 1969 State Championship Team. All Quarterback Club members and their families, anyone interested in joining the Quarterback Club, as well as the Members of the 1969 Championship Team and their families are invited to join the fun.
TRM volleyball to have ‘pink’ game
The T.R. Miller Lady Tiger volleyball game against W.S. Neal will be a pink theme on Thursday at home.
All proceeds will go to the T.R. Miller Relay for Life.
