Mrs. Edna Bell Milligan, 95, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at a Jay, Fla. hospital. She was a native of Madison County, Ala., and lived in McDavid since 1952 coming from Brewton. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in McDavid, a homemaker and a member of the Sew and Sew Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Lula Hall Warden; her husband, Johnnie Milligan; a daughter, Linda; and a sister, Iva Benson.
She is survived by a son, Wayne (Carolyn) Milligan of Cantonment, Fla.; three daughters, Carolyn (Henry) Leonard and Mary Jo (Ronnie) Smith, both of McDavid, and Christine Villarreal of Gonsazalez, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Willie Oglesbee, the Rev. Travis Hutchinson and the Rev. Nathan Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Sew and Sew Club.
