Mr. W.J. Reed, 77, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, in a Mobile hospital. He was a native of Conecuh County, a resident of Bay Minette, and a farmer.
He is survived by his son, Daniel B. Reed of Castleberry; a daughter, Denise Reed Griffin of Evergreen; two brothers, Joseph Wesley Reed of Gulf Breeze, Fla. and Robert Reed of Brewton; a sister, Susie Kirksey of Castleberry; and five grandchildren, Chris and Ashton Garner and Daniel, Will and Drew Reed.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 3 p.m. at Holly Grove Methodist Church of Evergreen. Burial followed at Holly Grove Cemetery with Cope Funeral Home directing.
