An Escambia County woman who accused her ex-boyfriend of shooting into her home in June has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of first-degree perjury and making a false report to law enforcement.

Angelia Marie Robinson of 7973 Damascus Road, was also charged with unlawful distribution and possession of a controlled substance.

Robinson “did swear falsely that she did see Christopher Plowman shoot into her residence when she knew it to be someone other than Christopher Plowman,” the indictment against her reads.

The drug charges state that Robinson distributed and possessed methadone.

The grand jury declined to indict Plowman in the case, and charges were dropped.

Plowman said he turned over to his attorney evidence that Robinson had made up the story.“I got her on a phone conversation” confessing, Plowman said. “She wrote the statements out and forged the witnesses’ signatures.”

Plowman said he has lost his job as a result of his arrest.

“I’ve taken a hit,” he said. “I spent 31 days in jail. I lost my career.”

Robinson was still being held at the Escambia County jail on a total of $150,000 bond as of Friday.

Perjury is a Class C felony, which carries a possible sentence of one to 10 years, and distribution of a controlled substance is a Class B felony, which carries a possible sentence of two to 20 years.
