“This was a big win for us,” T.R. Miller Lady Tiger head coach Greg White said. “After losing to Flomaton down there earlier in the season we were pretty motivated to come back and win tonight. I was pleased tonight with our service. We have been struggling in that area the last few weeks and I counted five total service errors tonight in all four matches so I was pretty pleased with that. Flomaton did a great job on the net and we were just able to contain them a little bit. We did not stop them tonight, but we just tried to contain them. They played well and we hung in there with some things and I am just proud to get the win. I was pleased with the serving because we have been struggling with that, but we battle back tonight and did a real good job.”
In game one, Natalie Neal led with five kills and two service points and Leah Brundidge had one kill and three service points with one being an ace.
