WSNMS volleyball ends season

In their final game of the season, the W.S. Neal Middle School Lady Eagle volleyball team defeated Pleasant Home 2-0 to finish the season 8-2.
W.S. Neal won 25-5 in the first set and 25-19 in the second set.
Leading in set one, Kendal Clayton had 10 service points followed by Jodi Busby with seven, Ashley Fleming with four, Cheyenne Jackson with three and Ashlyn Lambeth with one.
In set two, Jackson led with nine, Lambeth with five, Clayton with four, Katelyn Millican with three, Tykeria Nolan with two, Fleming with one, and Busby with one.
“I’m so proud of what our team was able to accomplish this year,” Lady Eagle head coach Joe Ellington said. “Our kids really developed a ‘blue collar’ personality. We worked hard all year. With the help of Coach Stone, we had a very successful year. We were happy that we could give the school and our fans something to cheer for.
“Our record of 8-2 is a good reflection of our girl’s desire to be winners.”
