Brewton joined other municipalities around the region Tuesday when council members passed a resolution voicing their opposition to the proposed Conecuh Woods Landfill.

Mayor Ted Jennings said the formal resolution would join others passed by other municipalities who have also opposed the project planned near the Range community.
