Hendon, White exchange vows

Kellie Kristina White of Pace, Fla. and Andrew Parker Hendon of Gadsden were married Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Government Street Baptist Church in Mobile with Rev. Wesley Dykes of Jacksonville, Fla. officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Danny L. and Tammy Gatwood White of Pace.
She is the granddaughter of Leon and Barbara White, Katie Evelyn Gatwood and the late Louis H. Gatwood all of Brewton.
She is the great-granddaughter of Millie Nelson of Brewton and the niece of Sharon Jernigan.
She is a 1997 graduate of Pace High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Mobile with a bachelor's degree of science, music education.
The groom is the son of Barry and Robin Copeland Hendon of Gadsden. He is the grandson of Buddy and Mary Lou Copeland and Ellis V. and Mary Lou Hendon, all of Gadsden. He is a 1998 graduate of Coosa Christian in Gadsden and received his bachelor's degree in music from the University of Mobile.
The maid of honor was Buffi Delezene, friend of the bride, of Milton and the matron of honor was Erin Darden, friend of the bride, of Mobile. Barry Hendon, father of the groom, served as the best man.
Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Heather Evans of Montgomery, Melanie Martin, Danielle Rowe, Ingrid Arnstead and LaShea Croom, all of Mobile and Heather Phillips, sister of the groom of Anniston.
Also attending the the bride were her two brothers, Adam White of Wichita Falls, Texas and Jared White, of Pace and friend of the bride, Keith Secrist, of Baton Rouge, La.
Groomsmen were Zachary Hendon and Tyler Hendon, brothers of the groom, both of Gadsden; friends of the groom, Kaleb Silver and Robert Hall, both of Gadsden; Justin Hughes and Kyle Clauch, both of Mobile; Lee Phillips,brother-in-law of the groom, of Anniston and Caleb Palmer of Gadsden, cousin of the groom.
The flower girls were Jordan King, friend of the bride of Pace and Ashley White, cousin of the bride of Mobile. The ring bearer was Joshua Palmer, cousin of the groom of Gadsden.
The newlyweds spent two weeks in Orlando, Fla. for their honeymoon.
They will reside in Louisville, Ky. where he will serve as assistant to the Dean of Music at Southern Theological Seminary while pursuing his masters of music. She formerly taught music in Mobile County and will be teaching at Evangel Christian School in Louisville, Ky.
