Dean Baggett

Mr. Dean Baggett, 65, of County Road #15 in Repton, Alabama passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at his Repton residence after an extended illness.

Mr. Baggett was a native and life long resident of Repton. He worked in the forestry industry for 46 years, and was a former member of the Sandcut Volunteer Fire Dept., and was a member of Baggett’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Baggett was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Katie Lou Baggett.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Patricia Ballard Baggett of Repton; two daughters, Daphne (Darren) Joyner of Repton, and Paula (Dennis) Blosser of Repton; two sisters, Alva (Bill) Ivy of Repton, and Emily (Lewis) Baggett of Mobile; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Joyner and Carson Blosser, both of Repton.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Baggett’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Renfroe, and speaker Bernice Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Baggett’s Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Bobby Ballard, Danny Joyner, Billy Baggett, Lawrence Gray, Allen Gray, and Brian Gray.

Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
