Paula Janet Wood

Miss Paula Janet Wood, 65, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Pensacola, Fla. She was a native of Century, but had spent the last few months at Pensacola Development Center in Pensacola. She had been a volunteer at Century Memorial Hospital and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Century. She has also attended Flomaton First Baptist Church and Little Escambia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Jayne Wood.
She is survived by a sister, Pamela Febig of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; her aunts Louzine (James) Mosley of Century and Jerri Coulter of Rock Springs , Ga.; a niece, Lee Williams of Gulf Breeze and numerous cousins.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Jerry Keese officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Michael Cox, Bill Cox, Thomas Cox, Shawn Fleming and Matt Febig. Honorary pallbearers were the staff and resident family of Pensacola Development Center.
