Cal Ripken games from Monday and Thursday in EB

In Monday and Thursday Cal Ripken League baseball and softball games in East Brewton, the Brewton Phillies, Flomaton, East Brewton Orioles, Brewton Fusion, Brewton Orioles, Brewton Diamondbacks and Brewton Indians came away with wins.
In Monday, March 28 game, the Brewton Phillies defeated the East Brewton Giants 17-9 and Flomaton took down the East Brewton Marlins 12-1. The East Brewton Orioles rolled the Brewton Blasters 19-9 in softball and in another softball game, the Brewton Fusion shutout the East Brewton Rays 13-0.
In Thursday games, the Brewton Orioles edged out the East Brewton Phillies 4-2 and the Flomaton Canes took down the East Brewton Orioles in softball 12-9.
The Brewton Diamondbacks doubles up the East Brewton Yankees 10-5 while the Brewton Indians upended the East Brewton Red Sox 9-8.
Brewton Phillies 17, EB Giants 9
The East Brewton Giants made eight errors in a 17-9 loss to the Brewton Phillies.
Drew Williamson earned the win on the mound for the Phillies allowing nine runs, three hits, walked three and struck out six.
Austin Holmes was 2-for-4 with a double and Williamson was 2-for-3 with a double at the plate for the Phillies.
Lane Clark was 1-for-4 and Harrison Hughes was 1-for-4. Kristian Smith was 2-for-3 with a double and a triple and Daniel Blair was 1-for-3. Adam Holmes and Cameron Pope were both 1-for-2.
On the mound for the East Brewton Giants, Conner Huskey, Blake McGraw and Hunter Revel all pitched allowing 17 runs, 12 hits, eight walks and struck out three.
Derrick Barton was 1-for-3 and Huskey and Aaron Bosarge were both 2-for-3. McGraw was 1-for-2.
Flomaton 12, EB Marlins 1
Flomaton held East Brewton to one run and one hit while the Marlins committed seven errors in a 12-1 loss.
Cole Brown and Dalton Kent combined for a one run, one-hitter on the mound for Flomaton. The duo walked one and struck out 10.
Robert Samson was 2-for-3 and Brown was 1-for-3 with a double. Dustin Odom was 1-for-3 and Kent was 1-for-3 with a double. Jackson Steele was 1-for-1 with a double and Jay Jackson was 1-for-2. Cole Graves was 1-for-1.
For the Marlins, Caleb Kaylor and Matt Thomas pitched allowing a combined 12 runs, eight hits, two walks and struck out 10.
Sawyer Lewis was 1-for-2.
EB Orioles 19, Brewton Blasters 9
The East Brewton Orioles 10-runned the Brewton Blasters 19-9.
For the Orioles, Haleigh Dubose was 1-for-2 with an inside-the-park homerun and Erin Hartsel was 1-for-2 along with Jena Wyatt.
For the Blasters, Katie Kirkland was 1-for-2 and Leann Kirkland was 1-for-1.
Brewton Fusion 13, EB Rays 0
The Brewton Fusion shutout the East Brewton Rays 13-0 and allowed no hits in the win.
For the Fusion, Anna Grace White was 1-for-1 and Alexis King, Steely Ruzic and Baleigh Douglas were all 1-for-2. Hailie Daniel was 1-for-1.
For the Ray, Andrea Hammac, Marisha Frazier and Shay Jackson all reached on walks.
Brewton Orioles 4, EB Phillies 2
Hunter Brittain struck out 15 Phillies and allowed only two runs, one hit and four walks as the Brewton Orioles edged out the East Brewton Phillies 4-2.
At the plate for the Orioles, Jordan Williams was 2-for-3 with two doubles and Stokes Jennings was 1-for-3 with a triple.
Brittain was 1-for-2 with a double and Russell Smith was 1-for-3.
For the Phillies, Joseph Booker had the lone hit going 1-for-2.
On the mound, Matt Hutchins and Weston Riddle allowed four runs, five hits, three walks and struck out 12.
Flomaton Canes 12, EB Orioles 9
Sky Gorum and Madison McFadden pitched a no hitter for the Canes as they defeated the Orioles 12-9.
The duo combined for nine runs, no hits, walked 13 and struck out six.
Madilyn Kent was 1-for-2 and Aleiha Emmons was 2-for-2 with a double.
For the Orioles, Haleigh Dubose and Tori Wyatt combined in the loss for 12 runs, three hits, walked nine and struck out six.
Brewton Diamondbacks 10, EB Yankees 5
The Brewton Diamondbacks doubled up the East Brewton Yankees 10-5 Thursday night.
Yash Patel and Joseph Blackburn combined on the mound for the Diamondbacks to allow five runs, four hits, walked three and struck out 10.
Matt Smith was 2-for-3 with a double and Micah Flores was 2-for-3. Landon Sims and Blackburn were 1-for-3 along with Kadarius Jenkins and Cole Jernigan.
McGowin Bethea and Patel were both 1-for-2.
For the Yankees of East Brewton, Jacoby Hawthorne, Jennings Hobbs and Kameron Cannon allowed 10 runs, 10 hits, walked three and struck out 12 on the mound in the loss.
Hobbs and Hawthorne were both 1-for-2 at the plate with triples and Cannon was 1-for-3. Dominic Beasley was 1-for-1.
Brewton Indians 9, EB Red Sox 8
The Brewton Indians edged out the Red Sox of East Brewton 9-8.
Miller Hart allowed eight runs, six hits, walked three and struck out six in the win for the Indians.
Hart was 2-for-2 and Lyon Jernigan was 1-for-2 at the plate.
For the Red Sox, Tyler Pierce and Marcus Dillard pitched allowing nine runs, three hits, walked 14 and struck out seven.
Morgan Riley was 1-for-3 along with Dillard. Tucker Davenport was 1-for-3 with a double and Tyler Pierce and Samuel Bosarge were 1-for-2.
Shon Cooper was 1-for-1 with a double in the loss.
