Mr. Sam Ferrel Holladay, age 85, of McMillan Avenue in Brewton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003 at his home after an extended illness. Mr. Holladay was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County, and was a retired accountant with the T.R. Miller Company. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brewton.
He is survived by special friend Lavon (Clara) Rigby of Brewton and special caregivers Bea Worthington, Tammy Gibson and Vaneisa Rivera, and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Holladay. Visitation was held Friday, Oct. 17, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Memorial services were held Friday, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Daniel, Reverend Frank Scott and Rev. Phillip Danford officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
