Mrs. Rosie Mae Mims, 74, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004 at her residence. She was a native of Camden and a resident of Atmore. She was a private homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Mims.
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Mims of Atmore; three brothers, Calvin Howard, Sammie Howard and David Howard, all of Atmore; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 2, from 1 until 8:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel and the body will lie instate at the church for one hour prior to the service.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. at Lighthouse Apostolic Holiness Church in Atmore with Apostle Floyd Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
