Mr. Lance William Barrow, 26, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004 in a local hospital. He was a native of Monterey Park, Calif. and had been a resident of Century for most of his life.
He is survived by his father, Willie Frank Barrow of McDavid, Fla.; his mother, JoAnne Patricia Meek of Century; a daughter, Tamara Barrow of Flomaton; six brothers, Frankie Barrow and Johnny Barrow, both of Orlando and Cherokee Meek, Shawn Barrow, Jimmy Lee Meek and Joey Meek, all of Century.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 20, at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Cliff Emmons officiating. Burial followed at Sardis Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were B.J. Johnson, Gary Golden, Daniel Addison, Eddie Addison, Henry Tedder and Mark Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Mack Kimmons, James Emmons and Donnie Johnson.
