Mrs. Janie Mae Jordan, 75, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 in a local healthcare facility. She was a native of Byrneville, Fla. and had lived in Flomaton all her life. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Ray Jordan of Stockton and Dancil A. Jordan of Flomaton; one daughter, Judy Lambeth of Atmore; one brother, Leon Hinson of Spanish Fort; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Wallace Reid officiating. Burial followed at Little Escambia Baptist Church Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Billy Byrd, Leslie Jordan, Jr., Matt Jordan, Roscoe Jordan, Doug Reid and Jerry Whatley.
