The Brewton City School Board met Monday, May 17 to discuss several items of business, including preliminary planning for this fall's Tiger Rally 2004.
This year, Smith said, the new T.R. Miller High School freshmen will travel to Mobile for Tiger Rally on Saturday, Aug. 21 and then make a trip to Six Flags in New Orleans. The event, expected to cost about $6,000, is funded mainly through assistance from local civic clubs and other organizations.
Freshman will also have an orientation at the high school on Friday, Aug. 6 before classes start.
