Neal ready for homecoming

Students and teachers at W.S. Neal High School are preparing for homecoming night, working on floats and gearing up for the annual parade.

The Eagles will face Monroe County High School on the football field Friday night.

“The classes will be working on floats this week,” said Gloria Jerkins, coordinator for the homecoming festivities. “This is an exciting time for the students and some great memories will be made during this time.”

The day’s activities include: 9 to 10 a.m., Alumni foyer will open in O.C. Weaver Auditorium; 10 to 10:30 a.m., Alumni Pep Rally will be held in O.C. Weaver Auditorium; 11:40 a.m., W.S. Neal Elementary School will dismiss; 11:45 a.m., W.S. Neal Middle School will dismiss; Noon, W.S. Neal High School will dismiss; 12:30 p.m.:, floats will line up; 1 p.m., the parade will start from the high school; 6:25 p.m., the pre-game homecoming ceremony will begin; 7 p.m., kickoff time for the football game.
