A two vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Old Castleberry Road had traffic backed up for about an hour Monday morning.
Two unidentified people were transported to D.W. McMillan Hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained in the accident. According to witnesses, the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
Brewton Police responded to the crash along with and officer with Alabama State Troopers. Brewton Fire Department personnel were also on the scene with D.W. McMillan Ambulance Service transporting the victims to the medical care facility.
The accident remains under investigation.
