Mr. William Edward Leggett, 62, died Wednesday, June 30, 2004 in a Bay Minette hospital. He was a native of Pensacola and had lived most of his life in Brewton. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the East Brewton Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, William B. and Mary Sue Leggett of Atmore; a son, Mark Leggett; a brother, Dale E. Leggett of Brewton; one grandchild, four step-brothers, three step-sisters and three nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 3, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at Craver's Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
