With the possibility of a twitch here or a twitch there, the schedule is virtually set for the upcoming Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawks volleyball season.
JDCC will open up its 2004 campaign August 27 when it participates in the Faulkner State Invitational.
The Lady Warhawks will open up both its home and Alabama Community College Conference portion of its schedule the next day (August 28) when it entertains Northwest Shoals in a 2 p.m. contest.
In addition to the Faulkner State Invitational, JDCC is also slated to participate in two other tournaments. Ironically both of those tournaments are being host by Pensacola Junior College. The first event is the Pirate Classic September 10-11. The other is the Pirate Invitational October 8-9.
The Lady Warhawks will have to finish among the top six teams in the ACCC in order to compete in the state tournament, which will be held November 1-2 at a time and location to be announced.
