James Edward Taylor

Mr. James Edward Taylor, 70, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004. He was a native of Cottondale, Fla. and attended First Assembly of God since 1947. He owned and operated Taylor Doll House, was a service station attendant and a courier for Pony Express. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Raymond Taylor and Paul Taylor and his son, Michael Wayne Taylor.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary A. Taylor; his children, James Richard Taylor and Rachel Renee Smith; step-mother, Edna Ernestine Taylor; sisters, JoAnn Reynolds and Myrle Chisholm; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 31 at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God in Pensacola with Rev. Jim Hale, Rev. James Robbins and Rev. Robbins Lee Wood officiating. Burial followed at Damascus Cemetery with Faith Chapel Funeral Home South of Pensacola directing.
