The flu vaccination scene at the Escambia County Health Department was quite different this week than in recent weeks.
The health department distributed the 400 doses of the flu vaccine it received this week by appointment only to the elderly and those with chronic respiratory problems.
Paula Dubose, office manager, said the department set Friday aside for distribution rather than have elderly people lined up around the block.
