Janice Fuqua Baggett, 52, of Fuqua Road, Brewton, passed away suddenly Thursday, December 30, 2004. She was a native and life long resident of Escambia County and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one daughter, Christy White (John) Skinner of Evergreen; one brother, Wayne "Cooter" (Evelyn) Fuqua of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Joyce Fuqua (Leland) Grace of Repton, Ala.; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Shelly, the Rev. Thirl Fuqua and the Rev. Mike Stacey officiating. Interment followed in Bethel Cemetery, Bethel, Ala., with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton officiating.
