Katie Mae Cumbie Warren

Mrs. Katie Mae Cumbie Warren, 96, of Shadow Hill Drive, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011 in a Florida medical facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Owassa, and a long time resident of Brewton. She was a member of Alco Pentecostal Holiness Church and a retired seamstress from Judy Bond.
She is survived by a son, Morris (Joyce) Cumbie of Brewton; a daughter, Aglice (Carlton) Messer of Opelika;  six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, at 1 p.m. at Alco Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Byrnes Pitts and the Rev. Carlton Messer officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Cemetery in Greenville with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
