Mrs. Betty Sue Carroll Hutcheson, 72, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2005, at a Dothan medical facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Covington County and a former resident of Andalusia before moving to Brewton in 2003. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Elvin Hutcheson.
She is survived by a daughter, Dinah H. (Bud) Boatwright of Panama City Beach, Fla.; a son, Jeffery Kyle (Pattie) Hutcheson of Ashford, Ala.; a sister, Joyce McIntyre of Andalusia; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Feb. 5, at 10 a.m. at Fairmont Baptist Church in Red Level with the Rev. Drexel Copeland officiating and Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory directing.
