T.R. Miller Lady Tigers junior center Joy McCorvey reached a personal milestone in Saturday's game against Northview when she eclipsed the 1,500 career points mark.
McCorvey entered the game with 1,498 points and hit the 1,500 mark when she scored from inside the lane 83 seconds into the contest.
McCorvey later added 20 more points that knocked her career figure up to 1,520.
That would be Felicia Jackson's career total of 1,911 points, which currently ranks third on T.R. Miller's career scoring list. Felicia Jackson, Ashley Samuel (2,197) and Deanna Jackson (2,398) are the only other Lady Tigers who have scored 1,500 for a career.
McCorvey, who entered this season with 1,040 career points, has registered 480 so far this season and leads T.R. Miller in scoring at 18.5 points a game.

The T.R. Miller Tigers track team took fourth place in the Class 1A-4A division at the state indoor meet held at Priceville over the weekend.
The Tigers recorded 38 points, which trailed only champion Altamont (88), runner-up UMS-Wright (52) and Leeds (46).
The biggest highlights for the Tigers came in the relays where they won both the 800 and 1600 meter relays with the same quartet.
Rodney Lane, James Hildreth, Mikel Riggs and Javaris Drakeford crossed the finish line in a time of 1:37.48 to take home the 800 relay crown.
Then in the 1600 meter relay Lane, Hildreth, Riggs and Drakeford posted a winning time of 3:40.25.
Lane and Hildreth made their presence known again in the 400 meter dash where both placed, as Lane was third with a time of 54.41 and Hildreth was fourth at 54.62.
Jason McCreary notched a third place mark in the 55 meter high hurdles with a time of 9.18.
Julius Harris posted a fifth place toss in the shot put with a heave of 41-3/4.
Baker was pleased with the fourth place team finish.
T.R. Miller did not score on the girls side and entered in only one event.
