Mr. Larry Mitchell Allgood, 58, died Feb. 16, 2005, at a local hospital. He was a native of Poplarville, Miss., and a longtime resident of Flomaton. He had served in the U.S. Air Force and had been employed by Exxon until his retirement in 1996. He later became plant manager for Vintage Petroleum. He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Alvin Allgood Sr. and his brother, Martin Alvin Allgood Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Anna B. Allgood of Flomaton; his wife, Ellen Allgood of Flomaton; his son, Larry M. (Nikohl) Allgood of Dayton, Texas; his daughters, Natassha (Joseph) Bonelli of Pensacola, and Susan (Danny) Carter of Las Vegas, Nev.; his brothers, Tommy (Nancy) Allgood of Flomaton, Terry (Nan) Allgood of Dothan, and Stein (Linda) Farrior of Waynesboror, Miss.; his sisters, Lecta (A.L.) Johnson of Purvis, Miss. and Donna Allgood of Fort Worth, Texas, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. at the Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jeff Howard officiating.
