Mrs. Mary Tom Cannon, 75, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at a local hospital. She was a native of Andalusia and had been a resident since 1967, coming from Atmore. She retired from D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital after serving a number of years as the director of medical records. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Brewton and was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin M. Cannon.
She is survived by three son, Mickey (Lee) Cannon of Atmore, Steve Cannon of Pensacola, Fla., and Mark (Kathy) Cannon of Brewton; one brother, Jerry Johnson of Evergreen; two sisters, Jo Ann Harper and Linda Hammond, both of Evergreen; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Saturday, March 26, at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery with the Rev. John Mathieu officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing.
