Mr. Deasley Culliver, 79, died May 4, 2005. He was a World War II veteran and a member of Little Brooklyn Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Delores Cullliver; a brother, Hilary, of Albion, Mich.; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Godbolt and Mary Sue Culliver of Brewton, five children, Samuel Deasley (Jean) of Brewton, Julius Lynn (Felicia) Deasley and Norman Wade Beasley of Birmingham, Calvin Deasley of Tuscaloosa and Mary Coreen Nelson of Harrisburg, Penn.; 12 grandchildren and a host of other friends and family.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 10, at 11 a.m. at Little Brooklyn Baptist Church with the Rev. R. Gray officiating. Burial followed at Little Brooklyn Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
