Mr. Willie Thomas, 73, recently died. He was a native of Andalusia and a former resident of Jersey City, N.J. He was a member of Second Saint Siloam Baptist Church and had been a member of the armed forces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Thomas.
He is survived by three sons, Jerome (Dorothy) Thomas of Williamsport, Penn., Willie Craig (Freida) Thomas of Ocala, Fla., and Dexter (Linda Rae) Thomas of Brewton; four grandchildren, Craig J. Thomas, Tynesia N. Smith, William S. Thomas and Kiana A Thomas; a special friend, Hattie Boyd of Brewton and a host of other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 11, at Second Saint Siloam Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. W.J. Blue officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
