Mr. Caleb Leon "Pude" Fore, 78, died Friday, June 24, 2005. He was retired from St. Regis after 35 years of service where he was a machine operator. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Seabee Division as an engineer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Bowers Fore; his sister, Johnnie Lou Sapp and his brother-in-law, Aubrey Sapp.
He is survived by three sons, Seven W. (Maria) Fore of Shoemakersville, Penn., Kenneth D. Fore of Conyers, Ga., and Charles L. (Mary) Fore of Anchorage, Ken.; a daughter, Diane (Ronnie) Ledbetter of Flomaton; brothers, D.W. (Edna) Fore of Grand Island, Neb., and Odell (Ruth) Fore of Flomaton; a sister, Mildred Newby of Brewton; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 26, at 3 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Howard officiating. Burial followed at Hollywood Cemetery in Flomaton with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
