Mr. Howard Griffin, 95, died July 19, 2005, at a local hospital. He was a native of Conecuh County, a member of First Marietta Baptist Church and a retired mail handler.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Griffin of Monroeville; one son, Howard Griffin Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; one great-niece, Dollia Watson; a sister-in-law, Maggie Morsette of Monroeville and a host of other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 23, at 11 a.m. at First Marietta Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Stallworth officiating. Burial followed at First Marietta Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
